My career and volunteer choices are made to support this underlying philosophy.

MTA is the longest continually operational volunteer business network in the greater region and I am pleased to be part of the Executive again this year.

I look forward to working with you all to deliver on the activities planned during 2012 for example the Strategic Review, the launch of the MTA eBusiness Capability Register and Website and the introduction of Principal Partnerships with other not for profit groups.

Moranbah Traders Association Vice President 2013I enjoyed all a regional upbringing has to offer in Maryborough before I completed a Business Degree specialising in Marketing & Human Resource Management in Toowoomba.

My 8 year involvement with Moranbah Traders Associationhas allowed me to be kept well informed on all business opportunities available though to training evenings for staff.

Our new committee is extremely focused & I am looking forward to being part of the team in assisting our MTA members to receive value from their membership & to feel their involvement is valued.

I have a long standing interest in community affairs resulting in my election to MTA Executive in 2011, I am pleased to continue my involvement and be part of the 2013 team.

The many changes in Moranbah’s demographics and therefore economic fortunes influence my interest in MTA as the most likely source of positive change. I have held many committee executive positions in the past and felt I was beyond another, but I admit I enjoy knowing what is happening and contributing where possible to keep positive change happening.
