What is a Local Supplier Briefing?
Local Supplier Briefings involve Arrow’s Contracts, Procurement and Logistics (CPL), Health, Safety and the Environment (HSE) and Regional Operations teams hosting a half-day event whereby information regarding upcoming supply opportunities and supplier requirements are presented to regional businesses.
Why is it important?
Local Supplier Briefings support Arrow’s Local Content and State and Federal Government compliance commitments.
Arrow has committed to providing ‘full, fair and reasonable’ opportunity for capable and competitive local industry to participate in the procurement of goods, equipment or services. An important part of this commitment is communicating Arrow’s opportunities and requirements, and through the process, gaining a better understanding of what the local supply market can offer.
Supplier information
It is intended that RSVP’s be limited to approximately 60-80 supplier attendees, with a maximum of 2 representatives from each business. Attendance will be by invitation only and free-of-charge. Catering will be available.
Event objective:
To support local suppliers in maximising their opportunities, Arrow is conducting a Local Supplier Briefing that will inform the business community of:
  • The types of supply opportunities available through Arrow’s domestic operations and CSG-LNG Project
  • The requirements needed to become a supplier to Arrow Energy
  • Where they can access support to develop their business opportunities
  • How to maximise their chances of successful tender/contracts in the oil and gas sector
  • The names of winning contractors – for sub-contracting opportunities.
