Create-A-Sign and MTA Networking Event a huge success

20130820-180626.jpgJo-Anne and Shane Foley from Create-A-Sign and Allmyne Training Services, hosted MTA’s second Networking Event last Tuesday evening.

With catering help from MC Butchery who provided the delicious platters, and cool beverages  from the Moranbah Community Workers Club, attendees were also treated to a tour of the premises in Griffin Street by the hosts.  Jo and Shane addressed the members and friends and demonstrated some of the specialist machines they have invested in as their business has grown, whilst introducing us to their friendly and talented staff.  Create-A-Sign started from humble beginnings in their home with the demand for their signs and printing leading to 3 moves into yet larger premises.

The President of MTA, Trehan Stenton, welcomed over 20 people who represented many different businesses.  An interesting introduction was also given by Steve Donovan regarding the Lucky Buys programme welcoming many questions from the audience. The Rewards program is said to encourage customers to spend where they are rewarded to shop locally.  Businesses interested in this idea are encouraged to see this link:  Moranbah Shop local

For those of you who have missed out on our Network Evenings so far, our next planned  event is to be hosted by Ashley Dowd from the Moranbah Community Workers Club, on the 24th September.
